See....this is why I hate these things!

It's been awhile. I have had lots of thoughts running through my head, but haven't taken the time to write them down.

Let's see....K and U and I saw Great Big Sea Tuesday night. What a show!!! Now that's a group of by's that I go ga-ga over. I don't geek out over many bands...but they are one that I do. I was a ball of nerves for two days! We went 'fishing' Monday night and found them hanging out at O'Dowds on the Plaza. Of course we didn't talk to them! Ah....the three of us were just sitting there in awe! Drinking beer....staring at the hottest Canadaian band I know...and just sitting there! We couldn't move. Tuesday night at the show I was wearing my "I'm here what are your other two wishes" shirt. It seemed to get a good response from Fred at the Cowboy Mouth show so I thought I would give it a shot with GBS. It worked....Sean couldn't take his eyes off my boobs and at one time even bent down, stared and nodded his head. He's not my type and U would kill me, but it was flattering. I even got the eye brow raise from Alan. The three of us do have some effect on those boys.....but Alan is the only one we have ever talked to, and the last time he was lecturing K about blowing smoke in his face!

I decided that I wasn't going to be able to go out of town in March. I want to, but there just weren't any bands close enough to go see, and I can't justify just a stay at a hotel for the sake of getting out of town! Rock by the Sea is this weekend, but flights in and out of Florida were $400! Sister Hazel is in Texas, but that is a long drive by myself. Cowboy Mouth is in California. So, I am now feeling a little down. It's not that I really hate this town or anything....but it gets old going to the same old bar...seeing the same old people....hearing the same old bands! And it's either that or stay home with the cats and crochet. (DAMN....I am getting OLD!)

Maybe I will try to post more this week.....get my thoughts out....better than crying myself to sleep I suppose.
